halfway

It's hard to believe that our time in Ireland is half over.  It has sure been great so far and looking forward to the next seven days.

Yesterday we drove (at least our coach driver did) from Killarney to Limerick.  Along the way the countryside was just beautiful.  We had a stop for pictures at the cliffs of Moher where those vertical cliffs rise 680 feet above the Atlantic ocean.  After checking into our hotel in Limerick we took the coach out for a super 15th century medieval dinner at a castle complete with entertainment and gayety.

We are just here in Limerick for the one night but the hotel (wait for pictures) and dinner show have been a great experience.

Limerick is the town that the five lined poem where the first two lines rhyme, the next two lines rhyme, and the last line rhymes with the first two such as this one told to us by our tour guide.

There once was a lady named Cat
who birthed triplets named Tom, Tess, and Tat.
There was no problem with the birthing
but when it came time for the nursing
She found there was no tit for tat.
