Today we drove to Twin Falls, ID to see the Shoshone Falls. It was a two hour drive each way but the visit to the falls was well worth the drive. On the way we stopped at a "Register Rock" which is a large boulder that when the wagon trains were on their way to California as the passed they would carve their names and usually the date of their visit here. The State Park folks have put up a chain link fence to keep current visitors from defacing this historic artifact but it made for a difficult photo opportunity.
