More on our ups and downs

Rawlins, WY as we reported in a previous post is our highest in elevation campground and it is right on the Continental Divide.  Once we left there we continue to climb toward Cheyenne, WY and just west of Cheyenne there is a rest area with a statue of Abraham Lincoln. Informational signs there describe that this is the highest point in elevation of US Hwy 30 which is known as the Lincoln Highway.  From there its a short distance to Nebraska and it's all downhill from there to the Manor.
